Category Archives: Gary’s Posts Mark called me last week at the last minute, and needed a Corporate Headshot for his job, at Proctor and Gamble. Luckily I had some time on Sunday so I was happy to help him out. I think this final shot came out pretty good, shot with my Nikon D-7000, 50mm 1.4G lens, @ F-8....  Hey Conor, I just thought I would post these for you, and I’m hoping that you had a great audition today. It was a real pleasure to meet you and your family, and I’m glad we were able to get these headshots done for you on such short notice.  Family portraits are always fun for me to do. Hevina Dashwood called me a few weeks ago, and asked me if I could do an emergency family portrait while her eldest son was home from College. After speaking with her for a few minutes on the phone, I realized that her husband was our attorney...  What defines a great headshot? As a photographer I’ve been contemplating this for years. I think really it comes down to connecting with the person you’re photographing, and trying to get there personality to shine through. If this happens, and I try my best to make sure it does, than Voila a great headshot!! Well...  This post is for Shantelle, and the rest of the students that joined the Vistek class last Saturday at Bluffers Park. |
